• Experience in property and leasing management across diverse portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of property legislation, leasing practices and heritage obligations.
• Proven ability to deliver leasing activities, property operations and compliance monitoring.
• Ability to provide practical, confidential guidance to senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated management experience supporting asset, grounds and leasing staff.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and risk management capability.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Professional integrity and sound judgement aligned with National Trust values.

Responsibilities

• Lead property and leasing frameworks, strategies and procedures.
• Manage lease negotiations, renewals, compliance and tenant relationships.
• Coordinate asset maintenance, presentation standards and operational oversight.
• Identify adaptive reuse opportunities, commercial activation and place-based strategies.
• Maintain property records, documentation and reporting; ensure compliance with legislation, heritage obligations, safety and environmental requirements.
• Respond to property incidents, tenancy issues and operational risks.
• Provide advice to the CEO, Director and senior leaders on property, leasing and compliance matters.
• Build productive relationships with agents, tenants, contractors, community groups and local authorities.
• Supervise a small team including property, asset management and grounds maintenance staff.
