Job summary

The University of Western Australia seeks a Senior Manager, Property and Commercial Leasing to lead strategic management of its WA commercial and residential property portfolio, comprising over 200 leased and managed properties across the state. You will drive leasing strategy, acquisitions, due diligence and risk management to maximise commercial outcomes and support university objectives.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Property, Business, Commerce, Law, Real Estate, Management or equivalent.
• Extensive experience leading commercial and residential portfolios.
• Ability to provide strategic advice supported by strong analytical and commercial acumen.
• Knowledge of procurement, contract management, governance and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in large, complex organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic management, performance, optimisation and risk management of WA's commercial and residential portfolio.
• Provide leadership in leasing, acquisitions, due diligence, commercial negotiations, portfolio strategy, risk management and governance.
• Deliver high-level advice, business cases and strategic recommendations to senior leaders while leading a specialist team and managing key stakeholder relationships.
