Job summary

Day One Recruitment partners with a rapidly growing, digital-first property practice redefining how legal services are delivered in Australia. You will support residential and commercial conveyancing across NSW and Victoria, working with a renowned founder and a national team to deliver client-centric outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years’ post‑admission experience in property law, autonomy, and a technology-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5-8 years' post-admission experience in property law and conveyancing
• Strong experience across residential conveyancing, with exposure to commercial property transactions
• Experience handling matters in NSW and/or Victoria (both highly regarded)
• Ability to manage files independently from commencement to settlement
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
• Commercially minded with a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Confidence using modern legal technology and conveyancing platforms such as PEXA, Smokeball, TriConvey or similar
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• A collaborative and positive approach to team culture
• Interest in contributing to the growth and future direction of the business

Responsibilities

• Managing residential and commercial conveyancing transactions from contract review through to settlement
• Advising clients on property acquisitions and disposals across multiple jurisdictions
• Working extensively on NSW and Victorian transactions
• Building trusted relationships with clients, buyer's agents and property professionals
• Assisting with mentoring and supporting junior team members
• Contributing to process improvements and technology initiatives
• Working closely with leadership on the continued growth of the practice
• Delivering a high standard of technical advice and client service
