Job summary

Unemployable Property Pty Ltd is seeking a Development Manager to oversee the full development lifecycle across multiple SE Queensland sites, from site acquisition to handover. You will work with the MD, investors, consultants and authorities to drive strategy and execution.

This role requires hands-on leadership across budgeting, feasibility, design and execution, with responsibility for delivering high-quality, compliant developments on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in property development in Queensland.
• Experience delivering residential, commercial, industrial or mixed-use developments.
• Strong skills in financial modelling and development feasibility.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Property Economics/Real Estate or related field preferred.
• Ability to develop and manage project budgets, schedules and compliance.
• Well-developed leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with relationship-building abilities.
• Commercially minded with hands-on project involvement and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead site evaluation and opportunity analysis across sites in South-East Queensland.
• Oversee project design, planning, approvals, and construction phases.
• Manage budgets, cash flow analyses, and financial reporting.
• Engage consultants including architects, engineers, planners and contractors; administer contracts.
• Act as primary contact for investors, government agencies and internal teams.
• Support sales and marketing strategies with agents and teams.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental policies; uphold company values.
• Lead and develop a dedicated team fostering cooperation and continuous improvement.
