Job summary

Ascend Recruit is seeking an accomplished Development Director to lead a major Brisbane CBD portfolio within a premier property development and advisory business. The role offers senior leadership responsibility and strategic influence over complex, high-value projects across select sectors.

Reporting to executive leadership, you will drive end-to-end development from inception to completion, shape strategy, oversee budgets and cash flow, and mentor development teams while building strong

Qualifications

• Extensive property development experience.
• Experience across retail, masterplanned communities and/or luxury apartments.
• Strong end-to-end development experience.
• Excellent commercial and financial capability.
• Experience delivering complex, high-value projects and strong stakeholder/consultant management.
• Knowledge of planning, approvals, design and delivery.
• Proven leadership capability.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to work autonomously.
• A relevant qualification in property, development, construction, planning, engineering or related disciplines is preferred.

An exciting opportunity is available for an accomplished Development Directorto join a highly regarded property development and advisory business based in Brisbane CBD.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a development professional with a strong track record delivering complex and high-value property projects.

The business is open to candidates from retail, residential masterplanned communities and luxury apartment backgrounds. You don't need experience across all three sectors - the role and portfolio will be shaped around your strengths and experience.

About the Role

About You

You'll be an experienced development professional operating at Development Director level.

You'll ideally have:

• Extensive property development experience
• Experience across retail, masterplanned communities and/or luxury apartments
• Strong end-to-end development experience
• Excellent commercial and financial capability
• Experience delivering complex, high-value projectsStrong stakeholder and consultant management skills
• Knowledge of planning, approvals, design and delivery
• Proven leadership capability
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to work autonomously

A relevant qualification in property, development, construction, planning, engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
