Job summary

XXL Constructions PTY LTD in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Projects Manager to run multiple live projects from handover through to practical completion and defects close-out. The role involves direct management of Contracts Administrators, site teams and coordination with estimating and clients.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in construction delivery, with experience in residential and multi-facet projects, and strong contract, safety and scheduling skills.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years in construction delivery.
• Experience delivering residential projects end to end.
• Experience running several concurrent projects or work fronts.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract administration skills, including security of payment legislation.
• Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, services and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards and Queensland WHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Run live projects from estimation handover to practical completion and close-out.
• Direct Contracts Administrators on day-to-day administration.
• Manage program, budget, cost-to-complete and forecast final cost.
• Oversee procurement of subcontractors and suppliers and coordinate workloads.
• Ensure site safety, quality and compliance and manage client relationships.
• Develop and mentor site teams and drive risk identification and resolution.
