Job summary

The Victorian Ombudsman is seeking a senior Delivery Lead to drive complex technology projects that deliver accessible, sustainable and value-for-money outcomes for Victorians. You will work with business owners, users, sponsors, delivery teams, advisers and suppliers.

You will establish governance, manage finances and contracts, shape options and delivery plans, and lead change management, testing and adoption to transition projects into business-as-usual.

• Experience leading end-to-end technology-enabled change in complex organisations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Executive-level communication and stakeholder influence.
• Commercial, procurement and supplier-management experience.
• Confidence leading multidisciplinary and matrixed teams.

• Sound judgement applying statutory, regulatory, privacy and information-management obligations.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technology projects within scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.
• Develop options, business cases, delivery plans and executive recommendations.
• Establish governance, assurance, project controls and transparent reporting.
• Manage project finances, procurement, suppliers, contracts and commercial risks.
• Engage affected users and staff to shape practical and inclusive solutions.
• Lead change-impact assessment, readiness, communications, training and adoption.
• Measure service, operational, adoption and benefit outcomes.
• Coordinate testing, implementation, early-life support and transition to BAU.
