Job summary

FactSet in Sydney seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead client implementations, upgrades, and enterprise hosting migrations within the Institutional Buy Side product suite. You will ensure end-to-end delivery with strong governance, cross-functional collaboration, and on-time production transitions.

The role requires extensive program management experience across multiple concurrent implementations, excellent communication, and the ability to build relationships in complex financial services

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in technology implementations.
• Experience delivering financial system implementations in complex environments.
• Strong communication, governance, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of client implementations using iterative methodology.
• Lead program governance including scope, schedule and budget.
• Create and maintain detailed program plans and status reporting.
• Coordinate with client and internal teams on scope and timelines.
• Influence delivery approaches to align with client priorities.
• Matrix-manage cross-functional teams and vendors to meet milestones.
• Communicate status, decisions, and risks to stakeholders; present artifacts.
• Oversee resources, capacity planning, and quality criteria for deliverables.
• Lead client readiness, training, cutover planning, and production transition.
• Own project financials, burn-down, and change control.
