Job summary

Advance Thinking is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive a major enterprise technology transformation, overseeing delivery through implementation, go-live and transition to BAU. This hands-on role requires ownership in a complex environment, with accountability across technology, business, operations and third-party providers.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Senior Project Manager in large enterprise technology environments.
• Strong track record delivering complex technology initiatives through implementation and go-live.
• Experience across service operations, service transitions or transition-to-run.
• Strong senior stakeholder and vendor/SI management skills.
• Ability to manage project finances, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, able to operate independently.
• Comfort in environments with undefined scope or processes.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery.
• Experience with distributed onshore/offshore teams.
• Insurance and/or Guidewire experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead key project activities through implementation, go-live and transition into BAU operations.
• Drive operational readiness, service transition and handover activities.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones and delivery priorities.
• Manage financials, risks, issues, dependencies and governance.
• Plan and facilitate knowledge-transfer and handover sessions.
• Ensure documentation, processes and technical artefacts are transitioned effectively.
• Identify gaps and drive them to resolution.
• Manage relationships across business, technology, operations and third-party vendors/SI partners.
• Coordinate stakeholders across onshore and offshore teams.
• Provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Apply lessons learned from previous releases to improve future delivery.
• Support the continued maturity of delivery and operational ways of working.

Role Overview
Advance Thinking is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a major enterprise technology transformation as it progresses through implementation and transitions into BAU technology operations.
This is a hands-on senior delivery role requiring someone who can take ownership in a complex environment, work through ambiguity and proactively drive outcomes across technology, business, operations and third-party providers.
The successful candidate will bring strong enterprise technology project delivery experience, ideally combined with service operations, operational readiness or transition-to-run experience.
