Launch Group is seeking a tenured Project Manager who thrives in a technology-driven environment and stays close to delivery. Based in Sydney, NSW, you will drive software and technology initiatives across the full delivery lifecycle.

You will collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders, balance structure with flexibility, and turn complex requirements into clear, achievable outcomes, navigating changing priorities to deliver successful projects.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years PM experience delivering software or technology projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and delivery environments.
  • Experience working with developers, business analysts, testers and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery with ability to work across Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to manage projects through ambiguity, evolving requirements and changing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of software and technology projects, ensuring outcomes across scope, timelines, risks and dependencies.
  • Work with development teams and business stakeholders to coordinate delivery activities and maintain alignment.
  • Establish clear project plans, milestones and reporting to support effective delivery.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues and blockers to keep projects progressing.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business areas to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
  • Support effective Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement across projects.

Job description

Our client is looking for a tenured Project Manager who thrives in a technology-driven environment and enjoys being close to delivery. This is an opportunity for someone who understands software development, can work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders, and knows how to turn complex requirements into clear, achievable outcomes.

You will play a key role in driving software and technology initiatives forward, working across the full delivery lifecycle and helping teams stay aligned, focused and moving towards successful outcomes. This role will suit a pragmatic and adaptable Project Manager who can balance structure with flexibility, navigate changing priorities and build strong relationships across the business.

Location: NSW, 2127

Job type: Permanent

Salary: Up to $160,000 + super

Role type: 3 days in the office per week once established

Requirements
  • 6+ years Project Management experience delivering software or technology projects
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and technology delivery environments
  • Experience working closely with development teams, including developers, business analysts, testers and technical stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices, with the ability to work across Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to manage projects through ambiguity, evolving requirements and changing priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and business teams
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks and delivery timelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and translate complex information into actionable outcomes
