Job summary

Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major wastewater infrastructure project on the Sunshine Coast. You will drive delivery from early planning and design through to construction, commissioning and completion.

You will manage safety, schedule, budget and quality across brownfield works within an operational treatment plant, coordinating with clients, consultants and site teams to ensure successful outcomes for the local community.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale STP and brownfield construction in live operation environments.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary scopes (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, process).
• Proven leadership of major infrastructure projects from planning to commissioning.
• Strong commercial acumen in contract administration, forecasting, cost control and risk management.
• Ability to build relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and operations teams.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.

About the Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major wastewater infrastructure project on the Sunshine Coast.

Joining the project at a critical stage, you’ll provide leadership and accountability from early planning, design and procurement activities through to construction, commissioning and completion. You’ll be responsible for driving project performance across safety, programme, commercial and quality outcomes, while ensuring continuity throughout the project lifecycle.

Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and delivery teams, you’ll oversee the successful delivery of complex brownfield works within an operational treatment plant environment and play a key role in delivering essential infrastructure for the local community.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

To be successful in this role, you must have extensive experience delivering large-scale Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects and brownfield construction works within live operational environments.

In addition, you’ll bring:

• Demonstrated success managing complex multidisciplinary project scopes, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process works.

• Experience leading major infrastructure projects from early planning, design development and procurement phases through to successful delivery and commissioning.

• Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract administration, forecasting, cost control and risk management.

• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and operational stakeholders.

• Exceptional leadership skills with experience leading high-performing project teams.

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
