Job summary

Delonix Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee an EPC engineering project in the Northern Territory. You will lead end-to-end delivery from initiation to completion, coordinating clients, internal teams, subcontractors and vendors to meet contractual obligations and regulatory standards.

You will develop and enhance project management methodologies, governance structures and reporting frameworks to improve efficiency and consistency across our mining and minerals projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field with PM credentials preferred.
• 10+ years leading large-scale EPC projects in mining and minerals sectors.
• Contract management and governance experience essential.

The Opportunity:

Join a leading multi-discipline design engineering consultancy delivering complex projects across the mining sector. We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the overall direction and execution of our current EPC engineering project in the Northern Territory, and to achieve their targeted outcomes for project services across the Company’s engineering projects.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of the project from initiation through to completion and post-implementation review, align project outcomes with the organization’s strategic goals and priorities, develop and implement project governance structures and reporting frameworks, and develop and enhance project management methodologies, tools and templates to improve efficiency and consistency.

Key Accountabilities include:

• Act as the central point of contact between clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure alignment and compliance of project goals with client expectations and contractual obligations and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the full EPC lifecycle, from design and procurement through to construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate procurement strategies and vendor management to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor progress and proactively address risks, delays, or scope changes.
• Mitigate risks across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
• Reporting and Forecasting of financial performance, function performance, resourcing capability and capacity.

What You'll Bring:

• A Bachelors degree in Engineering of related Business field, with Project Management and Change Management certifications being advantageous to the role.
• 10+ years’ experience in project management and leadership roles.
• Proven track record of successfully directing large-scale complex projects in the resources, mining and minerals processing sectors.
• Prior experience at Project Manager/Senior Project Manager level, successfully executing a contractor-side EPC project is essential for the role
• Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities, particularly in aligning technical strategies with business objectives.
