Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years' project management experience with significant retail/town centre project delivery.
• Ability to lead multiple complex projects concurrently across design, procurement, construction and completion.
• Extensive experience leading external PMs, construction teams, consultants and contractors and driving delivery accountability.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen to identify risks, set priorities, and meet time/cost/quality.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications with understanding of design, development and construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist PM across our national Town Centre portfolio, with initial focus on Queensland.
• Oversee master planning, design, procurement, construction and completion to ensure time, cost, quality and risk outcomes.
• Lead external Project Managers, consultants and delivery partners to achieve milestones and manage risks early.
• Attend site meetings, participate in design reviews, coordinate stakeholders and contractors.
• Provide leadership through influence, including managing external PMs and delivery partners.

We're Looking For

An experienced Senior Project Manager with deep retail and town centre project delivery expertise to join our Built Form Project Management team.

This is a senior, hands on opportunity for an accomplished project professional who understands the complexities of delivering large scale retail and town centre developments and can confidently lead multiple projects, external project management teams and key stakeholder relationships.

What You'll Do

As Senior Project Manager, Retail Town Centres, you'll provide specialist project management expertise across our national Town Centre portfolio, with initial focus on active projects in Queensland.

Working closely with our Development and Asset Management teams, you'll oversee projects across master planning, design, procurement, construction and completion, ensuring successful outcomes across time, cost, quality and risk.

You'll manage multiple projects concurrently and lead external Project Managers, consultants and delivery partners to achieve key milestones. Acting as the critical interface between our internal teams and external partners, you'll identify key project risks and priorities early and ensure they are effectively managed.

Your week could include attending site meetings, participating in design meetings for upcoming stages, reviewing project risks and priorities, working closely with Development Managers and coordinating consultants, contractors and other key stakeholders.

While this role has no immediate direct reports, you'll provide significant leadership through influence, including managing external Project Managers and delivery partners.

About You

You're an experienced project leader who has developed genuine expertise in retail development and construction, ideally across town centres, but potentially also neighbourhood centers or other complex retail environments.

You bring the confidence, technical credibility and commercial judgement to become a trusted adviser to the business. Just as importantly, you know how to build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and suppliers while keeping projects moving.

Whether your experience has been client side or contractor side, what matters most is your depth of retail project experience and demonstrated ability to successfully navigate complex project environments.

Experience & Skills That Count

• 10+ years' project management experience, with significant experience delivering large scale retail, town centre or comparable retail built form projects
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple complex projects concurrently across design, procurement, construction and completion
• Extensive experience leading external Project Managers, construction teams, consultants and contractors and driving accountability for delivery
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to identify critical risks, establish priorities and deliver against time, cost and quality requirements
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, combined with a strong understanding of design, development and construction
