Job summary

Stockland is seeking a highly experienced project delivery professional to lead on the Waterloo Renewal Project, one of Australia's largest urban regeneration initiatives in Sydney. You will partner with development, project and delivery leaders, government bodies and industry partners to shape and deliver a vibrant mixed-use precinct with medium and high-density housing, retail and community uses.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering large-scale residential, mixed-use, or urban regeneration projects.
• Proven client-side, developer or consultancy leadership from inception to completion.
• Experience working with government bodies and external stakeholders.
• Strong commercial, programme and risk management with consultant/contractor teams.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

A highly experienced project delivery professional who wants to play a key leadership role on one of Australia's largest and most significant urban regeneration projects.

The Waterloo Renewal Project is a once in a generation opportunity to help transform a major Sydney precinct into a thriving mixed use community. Delivering a diverse range of medium and high density residential apartments, alongside Build to Sell, social housing, affordable housing apartments, retail and community uses, public domain and precinct infrastructure, Waterloo represents one of the most complex and transformative urban renewal projects currently underway in Australia.

Working across a project of significant scale and complexity, you will partner with development, project and delivery leaders, government bodies, statutory authorities and industry partners to shape and deliver a precinct that will create lasting value for future generations.

What You'll Do

• Provide specialist project management expertise across the full project lifecycle, from project inception through to completion, ensuring project outcomes are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Join Waterloo Renewal team and play a key role in the delivery of the Waterloo Renewal Project, contributing to the successful delivery of medium and high density residential apartments, retail and community uses, public domain works and precinct infrastructure.
• Partner with Development Managers, consultants, contractors, government agencies and authorities to establish and execute delivery strategies that support project objectives, programme outcomes and commercial performance.
• Support project leadership in navigating the complexities of a large scale urban renewal project, influencing key decisions, managing stakeholder relationships and driving delivery excellence across multiple project stages.
• Contribute to Stockland's vision of creating connected, sustainable and thriving communities while helping deliver a project that will redefine a significant part of Sydney for decades to come.

Experience & Skills That Count

• Extensive experience delivering large scale residential, mixed use, infrastructure or urban regeneration projects, including medium and high-density apartment developments
• Proven client side, developer or consultancy experience leading complex project delivery outcomes from inception through to completion
• Demonstrated experience working with government bodies, statutory authorities and key external stakeholders across major developments
• Strong commercial, programme and risk management capability with experience managing consultants and contractor teams
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Property, Project Management or a related discipline
