Job summary

Brisbane-based property group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale retail and shopping centre projects from feasibility through to delivery. You will manage cross-functional teams, liaise with clients and senior stakeholders, and drive design, procurement and construction delivery on high-value assets.

The role requires autonomy, strong governance, and a track record of delivering complex projects from inception to completion within a national project pipeline.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale retail or shopping centre projects valued at $150m+.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders on client-side, consultancy, or head contractor environments.
• Strong design management, procurement, approvals and construction delivery knowledge.
• Excellent governance and commercial acumen for high-value projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full project lifecycle from feasibility to delivery on retail assets.
• Lead design, procurement, and construction teams and manage consultants and contractors.
• Engage senior stakeholders and ensure governance and budget compliance.
• Operate autonomously while coordinating with the property team.

I'm currently partnering with a leading property and investment group that is looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to join their Brisbane team.

This is a genuine client-side opportunity working across a portfolio of large-scale shopping centre and retail projects, with responsibility across the full project lifecycle from early feasibility, planning and approvals through to design, procurement, construction and final delivery.

We're looking to speak with Senior Project Managers who have:

• Strong experience delivering large-scale retail or shopping centre projects valued at $150m+
• Proven experience across client-side, project management consultancy or head contractor environments
• Strong understanding of design management, procurement, approvals and construction delivery
• Experience managing complex project teams, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen and project governance capability
• A proven track record managing high-value projects from inception through to completion
• The ability to operate autonomously while engaging effectively with senior stakeholders across the business
