Job summary

Redpath Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its Queensland development team. You will oversee a portfolio of large-scale retail, shopping centre and mixed-use projects across South East Queensland, driving delivery from feasibility to completion.

The role requires leadership of external consultants and contractors, solid governance, and a track record on $150m+ developments. You will work autonomously with senior stakeholders within an established national property

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering major retail, shopping centre or town centre projects.
• Track record managing projects valued at $150m+.
• Background in client-side, consultancy or head contractor environments.
• Strong design management, procurement, approvals and construction delivery.
• Experience leading external consultants, PMs, contractors and stakeholders.
• Strong commercial understanding and governance capability.
• Ability to operate autonomously with senior stakeholders.

Redpath Partners is working with a leading national property organisation who is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its Queensland development team.

In this opportunity you will be working across a significant pipeline of large-scale retail, shopping centre and mixed-use projects throughout South East Queensland.

The successful candidate will take ownership of major projects through the full development lifecycle, including early feasibility, design management, approvals, procurement, construction delivery and completion. The role will involve leading external project management teams, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders to deliver complex, high-value developments.

Current and upcoming projects include:

• Major shopping centre expansions and town centre developments
• Projects currently in design phase
• Shopping centre developments currently under construction valued at approximately $160m
• Neighbourhood centres, retail precincts, large format retail, retail pad sites, childcare and medical centre developments

We are looking to speak with Senior Project Managers who have:

• Proven experience delivering major retail, shopping centre or town centre projects
• Experience managing projects valued at $150m+
• Background in client-side, consultancy or head contractor environments
• Strong capability across design management, procurement, approvals and construction delivery
• Experience leading external consultants, project managers, contractors and stakeholder groups
• Strong commercial understanding and project governance capability
• A track record managing projects from concept and feasibility through to completion
• The ability to operate autonomously while engaging confidently with senior internal and external stakeholders

This role sits within an established national property team with a substantial development and capital investment pipeline. The successful candidate will initially oversee a portfolio of major Queensland retail projects, with the opportunity to grow into broader precinct leadership responsibilities as the pipeline progresses.

The team currently manages a significant portfolio nationally, with sufficient pipeline that this role is expected to be responsible for multiple active construction projects within the next 12 months, supported by external delivery partners.
