Job summary

Goldwind Australia is seeking a Senior Project Financial Controller to join the Finance team in Sydney, supporting financial management and commercial performance of renewable energy projects. The role reports to the Head of Finance and works with Project Managers, Commercial, and Procurement to deliver strong financial oversight across the project lifecycle.

Key duties include budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting, with a focus on providing meaningful insights to support

Qualifications

Proven experience in project finance, project controlling, or commercial finance.

Responsibilities

Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts, including FAC and cost-to-complete.
Monitor expenditures, analyse variances, and identify cost overruns and savings opportunities.
Develop and maintain project cash flow, revenue, costs and margin forecasts.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Commercial, Procurement and other stakeholders to provide financial insights.
Support revenue recognition, month-end, provisions, accruals and reconciliations.
Present financial and project performance reporting to senior management.
