Job summary

Goldwind Australia is seeking a Senior Development Manager to progress wind farm or BESS projects from development to Final Investment Decision and financial close. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, cost and risk, and drive progression of development activities.

Qualifications

10+ years' experience in wind or renewable energy.
Degree qualification in Science, Engineering or Planning.
Proven record in wind farm project development.
Experience in a similar or same position.

Responsibilities

Manage development plans for wind farms or BESS projects, including wind analysis, turbine and infrastructure layouts, grid connections, environment studies, community engagement and landowner relationships.
Define project capex and opex; manage contracts with landowners, grid connection providers, project vendors and service providers.
Assist with the business case of projects under development and work with others to execute defined processes.
Provide project information for planning and engage stakeholders with regular updates.
Liaise with clients, vendors, service providers and government agencies to ensure timely delivery.
