Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Cost Controller for a 12-month contract in Melbourne CBD with a hybrid work setup. The role sits in the Project Cost Control team supporting major wind farm construction across APAC, handling payment claims, cash flow, reporting, and forecasting.

You will manage WBS structures, POC reporting, and budgeting, leveraging SAP and advanced Excel. Strong communication and deadline discipline are essential in this complex project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Project Accounting, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Experience in Cost Control on large EPC projects.
• Strong finance/accounting foundation with reporting and reconciliation capability.
• Experience in project controlling and administration within complex project environments.
• Proficiency in SAP or other large ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare payment claims and raise claims in line with project progress and contract requirements.
• Report weekly cash inflows and outflows with input from the Project Manager.
• Monitor project financials to ensure expenditure remains within budget.
• Report POC (Percentage of Completion) according to the forecast model and escalated uncertainties promptly.
• Lead monthly project reporting and variance analysis.
• Support project forecasting and financial modelling.
• Maintain and update the billing plan for cashflow management.
• Raise purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Maintain Project WBS / Network activity structures.
• Follow up on NCRs, journal recoveries, and accruals.
