Job summary

Consolidated Power Projects Australia, based in South Granville with flexibility to work from home, is seeking a motivated finance professional to join our project Finance team. You will work closely with Project Managers to oversee all financial matters across a portfolio of projects and provide analysis to meet financial goals.

You will report to the Project Accounting Manager and help with timely reporting, cost forecasting, and risk assessment, supporting delivery teams with accurate

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce (or similar) or equivalent experience in a similar role
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with key stakeholders
• Previous experience in analysing financial data to assist project costs forecasting and assessing risks
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Proven ability in preparation of reports, working to tight monthly deadlines and supporting project delivery teams
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Familiarity with accounting and project costing software and strong microsoft excel skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial matters for a portfolio of projects and provide analysis to achieve financial goals
• Report and maintain finance and accounting functions pertaining to project portfolios
• Partner with Project Managers to assist with financial reporting obligations and report results to Senior Management
• Collaborate with accountants and project personnel to ensure effective accounting processes and cost reporting across projects
