Job summary

ATCO Structures & Logistics Pty Ltd based in Luscombe, QLD, is seeking an experienced Project Estimator to price major workforce accommodation projects. You will play a key role in developing estimates, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams across Australia.

The right candidate will bring experience in commercial, civil, mining, or industrial construction, plus advanced Excel skills and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating within commercial, civil, mining, infrastructure or industrial construction.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
• Experience obtaining and reviewing subcontractor quotations.
• Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review scopes of work, specifications and construction drawings.
• Prepare detailed site works estimates and cost submissions.
• Issue RFQs and obtain pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluate quotations and identify scope gaps and commercial risks.
• Manage technical clarifications throughout the tender process.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in developing estimating tools, templates and cost databases.
• Support the implementation of estimating software and systems.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Design & Engineering and Project Delivery teams.
