Job summary

Future Generation Joint Venture seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities on Snowy 2.0 in the NSW Snowy Mountains. Role emphasizes safe, compliant delivery under the EPC contract, with a focus on providing information and support to engineers and construction personnel to achieve common goals.

The position requires directing teams of engineers and construction staff to ensure timely, high-quality execution and effective collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience leading planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities.
• Delivery according to the EPC contract, employer requirements, project specifications, environmental regulations and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all construction activities within the assigned scope, ensuring quality, safety, and timelines.
• Collaborate with Construction Directors, engineers, designers, suppliers and subcontractors to coordinate complex schedules and resources.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Provide leadership to construction teams, promoting safety and delivery excellence.
• Oversee quality control to meet EPC contract requirements and project specs.
• Facilitate effective communication among project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve construction-related conflicts or issues during execution.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures for cost‑effectiveness and waste reduction.
• Identify and mitigate risks in temporary and permanent construction activities.
