Job summary

UGL Limited is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join the Fuels & Energy East team on projects spanning bulk storage, terminals, and related infrastructure. You will work with a seasoned team on asset lifecycle from concept to commissioning, delivering safe, on-time, and within-budget outcomes.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, exposure to diverse projects, mentoring engineers, and opportunities to influence delivery and HSSE compliance.

Qualifications

• Engineering tertiary qualification.
• Minimum 5 years project delivery experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or Power Generation.
• Brownfields Oil & Gas multidisciplinary experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Ability to liaise and influence stakeholders across levels.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong client relationships at all levels.
• Prepare and administer project budgets for cash flow management.
• Ensure project outcomes meet safety, client, budget and time requirements.
• Understand and interpret contract documents.
• Select, procure, and manage subcontractors and variations.
• Identify opportunities for delivery process improvements.
• Mentor Project and Graduate Engineers.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE policies and legal requirements.
