Job summary

Bluestone is seeking a Project Engineer to join a busy Tier 2 builder on a brand new $50+ million commercial project in Western Sydney. The role involves heavy design involvement and end-to-end exposure to the project life cycle from start to finish.

The successful candidate will have proven experience delivering multiple projects, including over $30 million, and will work with a close-knit team on commercial-type projects within Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation (schedules, contracts, change orders).
• Monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues.
• Coordinate with team members to complete tasks on time and within budget.
• Track expenses and provide regular updates to managers.
• Identify and resolve issues, escalating to managers as needed.

Highly respected and busy Tier 2 builder are looking for a Project Engineer to join the team to work on a brand new $50 mil + commercial new build project located in Western Sydney

The company undertake projects in a variety of sectors up to $350 mil including data centres, education, aged care, commercial and industrial.

This is a great opportunity to join the business and work on the project from start to finish. With a heavy involvement in design, you will get full exposure to the projects life cycle and be able to see it right through to completion.

They are looking for an all round Project Engineer that has proven experience in delivering multiple projects start to finish.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer on projects over $30 mil
• Proven experience working for a Tier 1,2 or 3 Builder
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in project engineering within the construction industry
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
• Reliable references
• Must already be in Australia to be considered for this role
• Experience working on commercial type projects within Australia
