Job summary

CIP Constructions Group is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in New South Wales to lead complex project delivery, manage key work packages, and mentor engineers. You will work with Project and Site Managers to provide a clear pathway into Project or Site Management.

You’ll oversee design through handover, driving safety, quality, programme and commercial outcomes while coordinating consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

• Strong construction knowledge across design, procurement, delivery, quality and compliance.
• Experience with project controls, Procore, budgets, variations, risks and contracts.
• A proactive, accountable approach with experience supporting and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and shop drawing assessments, coordinating consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Manage procurement and work packages, monitoring progress, safety, quality, budgets and schedules.
• Maintain project controls, reporting, compliance, QA records, registers, Procore and contracts.
• Monitor costs, variations and risks, taking action to keep delivery on track.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate O&M manuals, handover documents and project close-out.

The Opportunity

Join a growing New South Wales commercial builder as a Senior Project Engineer, leading complex project delivery, managing key work packages and mentoring engineers. Working with the Project and Site Managers, you'll have a clear pathway into Project or Site Management.

You’ll oversee allocated work packages from design and procurement through construction and handover, driving safety, quality, programme and commercial outcomes while resolving technical issues and coordinating consultants and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and shop drawing assessments, coordinating consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Manage procurement and work packages, monitoring progress, safety, quality, budgets and schedules.
• Maintain project controls, reporting, compliance, QA records, registers, Procore and contracts.
• Monitor costs, variations and risks, taking action to keep delivery on track.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate O&M manuals, handover documents and project close-out.
