Turner & Townsend is seeking Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to lead and deliver major projects across Australia. You will interface with clients, guide design and planning, and manage timelines, risks and budgets to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires a technical degree and strong English communication. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, lead diverse teams and contribute to business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification relating to a technical field: Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English with report and bid writing skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
• Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.
• Develop working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion.
• Manage the design process to achieve the client’s requirements and manage expectations.
• Review project plans and specifications, scheduling, cost saving measures, discrepancies and potential construction problems.
• Manage project safety and environmental requirements.
• Manage project timelines, risks and reporting.
• Manage project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track.
• Chair project/site meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Engage with marketing and business development initiatives.
