The role requires five+ years in automotive product management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver successful launches and updates.

Qualifications

• At least five years' experience in automotive product management or related OEM role.
• Experience delivering vehicle launches and lifecycle programs.
• Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand markets.

Responsibilities

• Analyse market trends, customer needs, and pricing to guide product strategy.
• Define product positioning, target customers, specs, and pricing.
• Develop business cases for new models and updates.
• Coordinate vehicle programs from planning to launch and lifecycle management.
• Lead new-model launches, facelifts, and end-of-life planning.
• Identify risks and coordinate with local and global teams to stay on schedule.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Aftersales, Supply Chain, Engineering and dealer teams for strong outcomes.
• Monitor portfolio performance and adjust pricing and specs as needed.
• Prepare product presentations and training for internal teams and dealers.
• Provide senior leadership with updates on performance and risks.

JETOUR Australia is entering an exciting phase of growth as we establish and expand our presence in the Australian automotive market. We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Planning Specialist to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of the JETOUR product portfolio across Australia and New Zealand.

This is a highly influential role where you will be responsible for product strategy, market positioning, commercial performance and lifecycle management of an assigned vehicle portfolio. You will work closely with our global headquarters and local cross-functional teams to ensure our products are well positioned for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, pricing and sales performance to guide product strategy.
• Define product positioning, target customers, specifications, grade structures, powertrains and pricing.
• Develop business cases for new models, model-year updates and local product initiatives.
• Coordinate vehicle programs from planning and localisation through homologation, launch and lifecycle management.
• Lead new-model launches, facelifts, special editions, software updates and end-of-life planning.
• Identify program risks and work with local and global teams to keep projects on schedule.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Aftersales, Supply Chain, Engineering and dealer teams to deliver strong commercial outcomes.
• Monitor portfolio performance and recommend changes to pricing, specifications, grade mix and volume plans.
• Prepare product presentations and training for internal teams and dealer networks.
• Provide senior leadership with regular updates on performance, launch readiness, risks and recommended actions.

About you

• At least five years' experience in automotive product management, product planning, product marketing or a related OEM role.
• Experience delivering vehicle launches, model-year updates and lifecycle programs.
• Strong knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand automotive markets.
• Experience in specification planning, localisation, homologation support and market readiness.
• Strong commercial, analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage multiple programs and coordinate local, regional and headquarters stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Professional fluency in English; Mandarin would be highly regarded.
• Australian citizenship or permanent resident.
