Job summary

Regis Resources is seeking an experienced Process Technician Level 3 to join our processing operations team at the site. Reporting to the Process Shift Supervisor, you will operate and optimise the processing plant to achieve safe, efficient production outcomes.

As a senior member, you will monitor plant performance using computerised control systems, troubleshoot issues, train junior operators, and step into Relief Shift Supervisor when required. This is a site-based role on an 8:6 / 7:7 roster.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Process Technician in a gold plant.
• Experience operating multiple areas of a processing plant.
• Certificate II in Metalliferous Mining (Processing) or equivalent; Certificate III studies preferred.
• Strong process control and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience mentoring other operators.
• Commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimise processing plant equipment to maximise production and plant performance.
• Monitor plant performance via computerised process control systems.
• Identify hazards and rectify faults to maintain safe operations.
• Start up, shut down and adjust production circuits as required.
• Respond effectively to plant malfunctions to maximise recovery.
• Isolate and permit plant equipment for maintenance per site procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational and quality control records.
• Train and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 Technicians to build capability.
• Act as Relief Process Shift Supervisor when required.
