Job summary

Recruitment Hive is assisting a Federal Government Department in Sydney to find a Senior Business Process Analyst. The role focuses on mapping current-state processes, analyzing data and identifying improvements across participant pathways and back-office functions.

You will collaborate with service design, business analysts and UI/UX teams to develop viable solutions using human-centred design and proven process-improvement methods. Late October 2026 start.

Qualifications

• End-to-end process analysis including current-state and future-state mapping.
• Ability to collect and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
• Experience applying service design and human-centred design to improve services.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, BPM or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking current-state process mapping of the participant pathway and back-of-house functions.
• Developing and executing time and motion studies to support analysis of handling times.
• Collect and analyse various data sources to develop recommendations for process improvements.
• Work with service design teams, business analysts, UI/UX designers and business stakeholders to drive collaboration on viable solutions.
