Stantec Australia in Brisbane seeks a Senior Process Engineer to join its Energy & Resources team. You will contribute to mining and resource sector projects from studies through to detailed design, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will mentor junior engineers while applying process engineering principles, design standards and best practices. The role offers flexible working arrangements and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in process engineering within the Mining and Resources sector.
• Experience in mineral processing projects, including comminution, hydrometallurgical and/or pyrometallurgical processes.
• Experience delivering projects from studies and concept development through to detailed design and execution.
• Strong understanding of process engineering principles, design standards, and industry best practices.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ability to prepare and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, and design documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach.
• Commitment to mentoring and supporting the development of junior engineers.
• Required to hold or be eligible for RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland).
