Job summary

Stantec – Energy & Resources in Brisbane is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Project Management team. You will manage scope, budget and schedule while coordinating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3 yrs experience in Engineering Design and/or Construction roles.
• Experience in minerals processing, pumping and piping and materials handling systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in multiple commodities such as iron ore, copper/gold and/or battery minerals is desirable.
• Eligibility for RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) application is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of scope, project tasks, deliverables, budget, and schedule across multiple projects.
• Coordinate and collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering and design teams for integrated project outcomes.
• Control project expenditures: verify invoices and claims from subcontractors; ensure proper recording of expenditures.
• Maintain key project registers: Change, Risk, TQ, SID/HAZID/HAZOP, etc.
• Demonstrate willingness to grow and step into the PM role.
