Stantec – Energy & Resources in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to sustaining capital and major mining projects from concept to detailed design. You will lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers while delivering high-quality design documentation.

Ideal candidates have 5 years in mining/resources, strong piping, pumping, materials handling and comminution knowledge, and proficiency in industry tools.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in the Mining & Resources sector.
• Experience with minerals processing, pumping and piping systems, materials handling and comminution.
• Able to lead or mentor engineers and support junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivering sustaining capital and major mining projects from concept through to detailed design.
• Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, specifications and design documentation.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project outcomes.
