Job summary

Aeris Resources Limited is seeking a Senior Process Engineer/Metallurgist at the Tritton Operations to turn data into decisions and plans into results. You will support mill operations, lead initiatives to maximise plant performance, and drive metallurgical improvements across the processing operation.

This hands-on role involves metallurgical accounting, production planning and continuous improvement while mentoring teams and upholding a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Process or Chemical Engineering is essential.
• Previous experience in Metalliferous processing.
• Strong practical and technical metallurgy base knowledge.
• Proven ability to solve complex processing challenges and deliver measurable plant improvements
• Passion for continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence.

The Nitty Gritty

We’re looking for a Senior Process Engineer / Metallurgist who knows how to turn data into decisions and plans into results. You will support mill operations and lead initiatives that maximise plant performance, recovery, throughput, and cost efficiency.

In this influential role, you'll be responsible for metallurgical accounting, production planning, process optimisation, technical support, and continuous improvement projects across our processing operation. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with operations and maintenance teams while mentoring others and contributing to a strong site safety culture.

What you Bring:

• Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Process or Chemical Engineering is essential.

The Company

Tritton Operations

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.

Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, weare are transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
