Job summary

Aeris Resources Limited is seeking a Building Projects and Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance across the Tritton Operations site in Nyngan, NSW. You will oversee mechanical and structural assets, buildings and infrastructure, guiding trades teams and scheduling preventive maintenance to ensure uptime and safety.

Applicants should have supervisory experience in mining/heavy industry, a mandatory manual driver’s licence, and preferably a Cert IV in Frontline Supervision.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in building, facilities, or maintenance in mining/heavy industrial environments.
• Manual Driver's Licence is mandatory.
• Cert IV Frontline Supervision preferred.
• Experience in planning and scheduling maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations across the site, including mechanical and structural assets, buildings and infrastructure.
• Lead trades teams and schedule maintenance activities.
• Manage preventative maintenance plans and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain company housing stock and site services (air, water, sewer).
• Promote safe work practices and motivate a diverse team to deliver results.

The Nitty Gritty

As our Building Projects and Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations across the site, including mechanical and structural assets, buildings, and infrastructure.

The role requires leadership of trades teams, scheduling maintenance activities, managing preventative maintenance plans, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Maintenance of company housing stock and site services maintenance (i.e. air, water and sewer) are also part of the responsibilities of this role.

Your c ommitment to safety, with a track record of enforcing and promoting safe work practice, is one of your strengths and you have the ability and desire to motivate and guide our diverse team to deliver results.

What you Bring:

• Demonstrated supervisory experience with building, facilities, or maintenance supervision in a mining or heavy industrial environment
• Manual Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
• Cert IV Frontline Supervision (Well-regarded but not mandatory)
• Planning & Scheduling experience
• Solid understanding of preventative maintenance systems and asset management.

The Company

Tritton Operations

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.

Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, weare are transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
