Job summary

Aeris Resources Limited seeks a Community Relations Advisor for Tritton Copper Operations near Nyngan, NSW. You will build trusted relationships with community members, landowners and Traditional Owners while supporting cultural heritage obligations and social performance across the operation.

You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on engagement, coordinating stakeholder initiatives and communications to promote positive outcomes for the region and company.

Qualifications

• Experience in business administration, social performance, community and stakeholder engagement, ESG, sustainability or government relations.
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in social sciences, communications or a related discipline are desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret social data and translate insights into actions.
• Proven mediation, negotiation and influencing capabilities.
• Experience working across cultures with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong media relations and public presentation skills to support engagement activities.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive, self-directed approach with enthusiasm and commitment.

Join Tritton Operations as a Community Relations Advisor. This role is a key role focused on building strong, respectful relationships with community members, landowners, Traditional Owners and key stakeholders.

You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on engagement, supporting community initiatives, cultural heritage obligations, stakeholder relationships and social performance across the operation.

What you Bring:

• Experience in business administration, social performance, community and stakeholder engagement, ESG, sustainability, government or corporate relations, or a related field.

The Company

Tritton Operations

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.

Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, weare are transitioning to a 'hub-and-spoke' model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
