Job description

Looking for the next opportunity where your work genuinely matters? Join SA Power Networks and help power homes, businesses and communities across South Australia - today and into the future.

About the role

Are you an experienced process improvement professional who can bring structure to complexity, align diverse stakeholders and translate end-to-end business processes into practical, sustainable improvements?

We are seeking a Senior Process Analyst to work alongside the business to define, document, analyse and improve business processes and requirements. This role plays a key part in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness and performance, while contributing to strong relationships between the business and the department.

Culture & benefits

At SA Power Networks, you’ll be part of a team where our values shape how we work every day. We keep everyone safe, collaborate with purpose, take the initiative, and rise to the challenge to deliver for our people, customers and communities.

We offer an environment that values safety above all, encourages new ideas, and supports you to grow your career while making a meaningful contribution to South Australia.

You will also enjoy:

  • Flexible working arrangements and a strong focus on work-life balance
  • 13% superannuation (1% above current legislated employer contributions)
  • Up to $900 in electricity reimbursements each year
  • 17.5% leave loading payable on annual leave
  • Income Protection Coverage
  • Primary Parental Leave (18 weeks) and Secondary Parental Leave (5 weeks)
  • Corporate discounts on health insurance and gym memberships
  • 1 paid day of volunteering leave
About you

You are an experienced and collaborative process professional who can quickly understand how work happens across teams, identify where improvements will add value and bring people on the journey. You communicate clearly, facilitate effectively and are able to turn complexity into practical actions that improve business outcomes.

You will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, challenging current ways of working constructively and supporting the implementation of improvements that are adopted and sustained by the business.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Demonstrated experience analysing and improving complex end-to-end processes, rather than isolated activities, ideally gained over five or more years.
  • Strong Lean and continuous improvement capability, with proven practical application in a business environment.
  • Systems thinking, with the ability to understand broader workflows, interdependencies and upstream and downstream impacts across L1-L4 process views.
  • Strong complex problem-solving skills, including the ability to work through ambiguity, competing priorities and processes that cross departmental boundaries.
  • Confidence bringing diverse stakeholders together, building alignment and drawing out business knowledge in environments with varying levels of process management maturity.
  • A change mindset that recognises sustainable process improvement goes beyond mapping and requires attention to adoption, governance, behaviours, capability and implementation.
  • Degree in an appropriate discipline and/or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Significant experience in the application of process improvement methodologies and principles.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification, with Green Belt certification desirable.
