Job summary

SA Power Networks is seeking Powerline Workers to join field teams across South Australia, performing planned and reactive maintenance, fault response, and network upgrades to ensure safe and reliable electricity distribution.

With strong safety focus and opportunities across Adelaide, Clare, Murray Bridge, Wingfield, Holden Hill and Elizabeth, you’ll work in a supportive depot culture and benefit from relocation packages and long-term rental support.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in ESI – Distribution Powerline or equivalent.
  • Current Full Drivers Licence.
  • Electrical Workers Licence.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned and reactive network works across metropolitan and regional environments.
  • Perform fault response and restoration to keep power flowing.
  • Carry out maintenance activities and network upgrades.
  • Support emergency response work as required.

Education

About the role

Powerline Workers play a critical role in maintaining and restoring SA Power Networks’ overhead and underground electricity distribution network, helping connect South Australians to a safe, reliable, and sustainable energy future.

Working as part of a field-based crew, you will deliver planned and reactive network works across metropolitan and regional environments. This includes fault response and restoration, maintenance activities, network upgrades, and emergency response work to help keep power flowing to homes, businesses, and communities across South Australia.

We have multiple positionsavailable across our beautiful state including Adelaide CBD, Clare, Murray Bridge, Wingfield, Holden Hill and Elizabeth.

About you

We’re keen to hear from Powerline Workers who have:

  • Certificate III in ESI – Distribution Powerline or equivalent
  • Current Full Drivers Licence
  • Electrical Workers Licence
  • A minimum of 2 years post trade working experience
