Job summary

About the role

As a Project Officer, you’ll manage the scoping and coordination of customer connection and distribution system projects, working closely with management, internal delivery teams and external contractors to ensure projects are delivered reliably, efficiently and in line with customer expectations.

You’ll play a key part in supporting the Customer Solutions team’s statewide responsibilities for new connections, alterations, embedded generation and asset relocations, helping us deliver great customer service and support South Australia’s evolving energy needs.

Reporting to the Customer Solutions Manager, this role offers the opportunity to develop your project delivery capability while contributing to timely, cost-effective outcomes for our customers and the network.

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Diploma of Engineering (electrical preferred) or Diploma of Project Management or equivalent qualification, or the equivalent level of skills and knowledge gained through experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related role
  • Strong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Class C Driver’s Licence
  • Experience with design software and/or SAP
  • Experience coordinating complex or high-volume customer projects
  • Understanding of compliance with relevant rules, standards and procedures
