Job summary

Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to lead build-to-suit Robotic Fulfillment facility projects from planning through pre-construction. The role includes tenant improvements and renovations, with travel across Australia approximately 50%.

You will coordinate planning, design, permits, cost estimates, and a seamless handoff to construction while working with internal teams and external partners to meet timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management, real estate development, architecture/design experience
• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience coordinating build-to-suit, tenant improvements and renovations preferred

Responsibilities

• Review site feasibility and support site selection
• Coordinate project planning: surveys, drawings, site visits, traffic plans and BRS
• Coordinate architectural design and permit submittals as required
• Prepare documents for lease execution (site plans, work letters, programmes)
• Understand zoning, fire code and building code interpretations
• Develop construction sequencing and phasing
• Create initial construction cost estimates for planning and capital requests
• Compile documentation for construction handoff including design, lease and approvals
• Lead internal Amazon managers and stakeholders
• Travel throughout Australia approximately 50% of the time
