Job summary

Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd in Australia seeks an experienced Operations Area Manager to join our Customer Fulfillment team at the Jandakot Fulfillment Center on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract. You will lead and develop a team of Section Managers across receive, stow, pick, pack or ship, driving delivery efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The role requires strong leadership, a deep commitment to Health and Safety, and the ability to collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in operations or logistics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Operations Section Managers and their direct reports.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards and promote a safety culture on-site.
• Develop performance goals to meet customer promise and ensure accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA and HR to meet business objectives.
• Establish and maintain quality control standards with the management team.
• Review forecasts and plan headcount and workload to meet building objectives.
