Job summary

Phillip Riley is seeking a Commercial Manager specializing in PPA origination, structured offtake products and electricity markets. The role focuses on leading negotiations, building relationships with buyers, and driving profitable, bankable offtake agreements across wind, solar, and storage assets.

With a multi-GW pipeline and access to senior leadership, you will shape pricing, risk and commercial strategy in diversified portfolios within the NEM, including recontracting operating assets.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in originating PPAs or structured energy products.
• Proven track record negotiating and closing energy offtake agreements.
• Strong NEM knowledge: pricing, dispatch, settlement, hedging.

Responsibilities

• Originate PPA and offtake opportunities with corporate buyers and market participants.
• Develop and execute offtake strategies for development projects and assets.
• Lead commercial negotiations from term sheets to binding contracts.
• Structure PPAs, firmed/shape products, and storage tolling.
• Secure bankable offtake agreements to support project finance.
• Assess wholesale market dynamics, pricing structures and risks.
• Collaborate with Development, Finance, Operations and Legal.
