vertexsolutions is seeking a Senior Business Development Lead in Australia to drive deal-making across PPAs and BESS tolling contracts. You will source, negotiate and close deals, manage end-to-end processes, and grow a robust pipeline with senior-level relationships across corporates, utilities, and storage firms.

• 5+ years in energy deal-making, contract structuring, trading or related commercial role.
• Demonstrated success closing power agreement deals with minimal oversight.
• Solid understanding of battery storage commercial structures - tolling and open-market exposure.
• Strong knowledge of the Australian electricity market (NEM) and regulatory landscape.
• Sharp contract negotiation ability and a well-built industry network.

Responsabilidades

• Drive and close Corporate and Utility PPA deals across the Australian market.
• Source, build and negotiate BESS trading agreements, optimisation arrangements and go-to-market frameworks.
• Manage every stage of deal-making from confidentiality agreements to signed contracts.
• Grow and maintain a healthy pipeline of PPA and storage opportunities.
• Cultivate high-level relationships across corporates, utilities, retailers, trading firms and storage providers.
• Collaborate with Project Development, Finance, Legal, Trading and Engineering teams to progress deals.
• Monitor the Australian energy landscape, including price trends and regulation.
• Contribute to broader growth strategy, including renewables-plus-storage offerings.
