Phillip Riley is supporting an market leader in its search for a passionate and experienced leader to join its Energy & Carbon Advisory team in a director-level position.

About the Role

With responsibilities spanning client service delivery to strategic business development, we are looking for someone who can leverage their deal execution experience to successfully deliver projects for clients, whilst also driving key client engagements and spearheading business development efforts in the energy sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on clients growth and the region’s decarbonisation trajectories, and can be based in Sydney (preferred) or Melbourne.

What we are looking for

• 8+ years of relevant energy markets, consulting, and deal experience
• Good understanding of the National Electricity Market (NEM)
• Experience advising on PPA's and other offtake agreements
• Qualifications in environmental, finance, engineering, business, economics, or related fields
• Proven track record of analytical thinking and success in a competitive environment
• Ability to take ownership of an energy-focused advisory capability
• Collaborative approach to work with strong leadership skills
• Passion for renewable energy and climate action
