Job summary

The Plumbing Supervisor is a key trade position within the University’s Estate Built Environment Directorate. The role coordinates development, planning, implementation and maintenance of plumbing infrastructure across University buildings, providing technical support and ensuring safe operation in compliance with safety and legislative requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Plumbing Certificate (Certificate III in Plumbing) or equivalent, with a current plumbing licence.
• Extensive experience and specialist knowledge in plumbing services.
• Experience coordinating and supervising trade teams, including scheduling and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development, planning, implementation and maintenance of plumbing infrastructure in university buildings.
• Supervise plumbing team, contracted providers and in-house resources.
• Provide technical support ensuring safe operation and compliance with safety and legislative requirements.
• Develop maintenance schedules and manage contractor performance.
• Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders; maintain records in CMMS (Archibus).
