Job summary

The Coles Group is seeking a Senior Platform Manager to lead the Integration Platforms portfolio within our Data and AI Technology team. You will own availability, security, and evolution across the platform portfolio, driving strategy, roadmaps, and architecture for systems like Control-M, DataStage, APIs, and messaging services.

You will lead incidents, improve operational readiness, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective integration capabilities

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise platforms or engineering teams at senior-management level.
• Accountability for highly available production services and major technology changes.
• Experience leading significant incidents, recovery and root-cause analysis.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration technologies including APIs, Kafka and data movement.

Responsibilities

• Own availability, resilience, security, scalability, cost and evolution of the Integration platform portfolio.
• Lead full platform lifecycle: strategy, roadmap, architecture, build, test, release, operate, recover, improve and retire.
• Drive platform engineering via automation, IaC, CI/CD and self-service capabilities.
• Establish service ownership, standards, SLAs and operational readiness criteria.
• Lead incidents, assessment, remediation and post-change validation.
• Manage production readiness and platform currency while reducing recurring incidents.
