Job summary

Cuscal is seeking a hands-on Senior Integration Engineer to join the Engineering Practices team in Enterprise Technology Services. You will deploy, configure, maintain, and harden the core integration infrastructure that underpins Cuscal’s enterprise capabilities, translating platform standards into automated, secure environments across development, staging, and production.

You’ll lead deploying technologies like Confluent/Kafka, IBM MQ, API gateways, and cloud messaging services, while building

Qualifications

• 8+ years of infrastructure or platform engineering experience in regulated or large enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience across multiple core integration technologies such as Confluent/Kafka, IBM MQ, IBM ACE, Sterling Integrator, Control-M, MFT, API gateways, Azure Service Bus or SQS/SNS.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code experience using Terraform, Ansible and Helm.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline design and management experience with secure deployment patterns and environment promotion.
• Experience supporting Kubernetes and Docker environments with a focus on operational reliability.
• Monitoring and observability experience using Grafana, Prometheus, ELK or equivalent tools.
• Working knowledge of mTLS, certificate management, secrets handling, Linux administration and scripting with Bash or Python.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to produce technical documentation, runbooks and operational updates.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, maintain and harden core integration infrastructure.
• Build infrastructure‑as‑code pipelines and secure CI/CD deployments.
• Improve reliability via high availability, disaster recovery, failover testing and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with cyber security on platform hardening and secrets management.
• Create monitoring dashboards and runbooks for operational handover.
• Collaborate with engineering, cloud, identity, cyber and vendor teams to align platform standards.
