Job summary

Coles is seeking a Senior Platform Manager – Integration Platforms within its Data and AI Technology portfolio. You will own the integration platform portfolio, drive strategy, and lead cross‑functional teams across enterprise scheduling, APIs, and data movement to enable a resilient, scalable, AI‑enabled enterprise.

You will guide governance, security, cost, and operational readiness while building capability and reducing vendor dependency in a hybrid Coles environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading senior engineering teams for business‑critical platforms.
• End‑to‑end accountability for production services and major technology changes.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and data movement.
• Proven ability to define platform strategies and executable roadmaps.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, observability and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own availability, resilience, security, scalability, cost and evolution of the Integration platform portfolio.
• Lead full platform lifecycle: strategy, roadmap, architecture, build, test, release, operate, recover, retire.
• Drive platform roadmaps across enterprise scheduling and integration tools (Control‑M, DataStage, APIs, Kafka, MQ).
• Establish service ownership, SLOs/SLAs, operational readiness criteria and change management.
• Provide leadership for incidents, from detection to permanent remediation.
• Develop multi‑year platform strategies and funded roadmaps.
