Job summary

Immutable is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own end-to-end platform components in a hybrid AWS/GCP environment. You will work on an internal Kubernetes operator (Go) and build self-service tooling to accelerate product teams. The team is Sydney-based, with the office three days a week, and you’ll influence foundational choices across the stack.

You’ll shape observability, reliability, and infrastructure tooling while collaborating with product teams to ship secure, scalable services.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building scalable platform infrastructure.
• Strong ownership of end-to-end platform components and services.
• Proficient in Go backend development and cloud-native tooling.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end platform components and tooling in a hybrid AWS/GCP environment.
• Extends and maintains the internal Kubernetes operator and related resources.
