Job summary

Lanson Partners in Sydney is seeking a Senior Platform/DevOps Engineer to help build and run a critical identity platform for a leading Australian financial services group. You will own Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security, reliability and observability in production.

Join an Agile team, work across AWS and GCP, and contribute to tooling and automation with Terraform IaC and modern DevOps practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with AWS or GCP (both are a bonus).
• IaC with Terraform and CI/CD tooling.
• Scripting in Go, Python, Bash or Java.
• Good grasp of web/API basics (REST/HTTP).
• Problem-solver who communicates clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build and run cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP using Terraform.
• Deploy and manage containerised workloads on Kubernetes (EKS, GKE) and Docker.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and self-service tooling.
• Own monitoring, alerting and incident response in production.
• Support platform services behind identity and API stacks.
• Join an on-call rotation for highly available services.
