Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a DevOps + Go Platform Engineer to build an internal developer platform and CI/CD ecosystem. You’ll work across Kubernetes‑based environments, on‑prem and cloud setups, and modernize deployment tooling.

The role emphasizes Go development, platform tooling, and strong ownership across the software delivery lifecycle. Remote Australia-based candidates are welcome and collaboration with cross‑functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of senior DevOps or platform engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience with on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Production Go development experience.
• Strong Kubernetes proficiency.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
• Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• IaC with Terraform and Ansible.
• Observability tools such as Grafana/OpenSearch/Prometheus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
• Maintain and improve infrastructure across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Develop, maintain, and refactor internal platform tools in Go.
• Investigate infrastructure bottlenecks and drive measurable improvements.
• Strengthen observability and monitoring for platforms and deployments.
• Collaborate with R&D, SRE, QA, and infra teams to improve developer workflows.
